With a degree in classical guitar, Neapolitan Sodo writes both lyrics and music. Since 1992 he has worked on commission for the Cineteca di Bologna, writing music for silent films presented with live accompaniment in New York, Paris, Haifa, Madrid, Bogota, Buenos Aires, San Francisco, and at other film archives throughout Italy and Europe. For a number of years he collaborated with the medieval music ensemble Acantus (ex Sine Nomine), participating in the Symphony Season for Radio Europee, in the Sagra musicale umbra, and in the Royamount and Regensburg festivals.
